Room had a kitchenette, which was handy for making snacks and quick meals. the location was great, just a 10-15 minute stroll to Church of Saint Peter 'barisano' 🚶.

The grounds of the hotel are simply enchanting, with the former Church of Saint Martin standing proudly as if it were the patron of wine. It adds a touch of whimsy and romance to the overall ambiance of the place.

Additionally, being close to a cave, the old town, and even Dalì Sculptures made exploring Matera a breeze. We are definitely planning to return in the future.

I loved the room with the kitchenette and the cozy bed, the staff was super helpful, and the location was fantastic, close to the Belvedere di Piazza Giovanni Pascoli Observation Deck.

The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired. There were ants crawling all over the walls and floor, which made us uncomfortable.

we stayed at residence le vie del mosto in a big modern room with stunning city views. the location was perfect, situated in the old part of the city and accessible by foot. the accommodation was well-equipped with a powerful shower and everything needed for a comfortable stay. the staff, especially maria luisa, were outstanding and provided helpful information on restaurants, sightseeing tours, and parking. the breakfast in the lovely courtyard was delicious and the service was incredible. overall, it was a beautiful and memorable experience. cons: hard to think of anything 🤔.

I had a fantastic stay at Residence Le Vie Del Mosto in Matera. The view from my little balcony was absolutely amazing, with the Sassi right in front of me. The room was clean, comfortable, and in a very central location. The directions to find the hotel were spot on, and the friendly host even arranged a walking tour for us in our limited time. The room had everything we needed, including AC and a dehumidifier, which was necessary in the humid weather. The location was perfect, and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the little table outside while taking in the stunning view of Matera at night. They also provided helpful information about free parking options and the breakfast was good in both quality and quantity. a wonderful experience.
